Blue Moon Clay Studio

Pottery Studio

Pottery Studio Throwing

Blue Moon Clay Studio is a fully equipped artist pottery studio with state of the art wheels, mixers & 4 kilns located on six acres along the Hudson River in beautiful Washington County. Blue Moon Clay Gallery features the saggar fired vessel & tile work of Brenda McMahon as well as Brenda's new Soda Fired work..

Blue Moon is located just 14 miles east of downtown Saratoga Springs and 7 miles west of downtown Greenwich. The studio is 3.4 miles south of county route 29 on county route 113 (river road).
The pottery studio is equipped with 4 potter’s wheels, three electric and one Randall kick wheel; a brent slab roller, two electric kilns, 3 saggar kilns and a fully equipped glaze/kiln room.

Pottery Classes are held in the quiet comfort of this country setting. If you come by in daytime, you’ll be struck by the bucolic drive along the river where family farms still raise cows, goats and chicken, and old barns stand in the quiet backdrop of the Hudson River. If you’re lucky enough to take an evening class you’ll be delighted by the brilliance of the night sky as you head home.

Blue Moon Clay Pottery Studio and Gallery
is open to the public April thru October, weekends and weekdays by appoinment or by chance. If Brenda is traveling, the gallery is closed. If she's working, you're welcome to come visit.
